Ball Valves
Soft-seated trunnion-mounted ball valve
This series combines a supported ball with a soft seat for the published pipeline isolation application. The project datasheet must confirm the exact seat material, operating limits and shutoff requirements for the offered valve.
About the soft-seated trunnion-mounted ball valve manufacturerThese are family-level options. Confirm the offered series rating and materials against its approved datasheet.
TRUNNION BALL VALVE PROCUREMENT
What should a soft-seated trunnion ball valve RFQ confirm?
Confirm the supported-ball construction, soft-seat and seal materials, bore, differential pressure and shutoff requirements for the offered trunnion ball valve. Specify any required cavity-relief or isolation function separately and request written confirmation. For an actuated package, provide supply, controls, fail position and operating-time requirements; trunnion support does not establish the actuation scope.

- Provide fluid composition, solids, operating/design conditions, maximum differential pressure, switching frequency and required shutoff direction.
- Confirm soft-seat and seal materials, leakage acceptance, bore and any specified cavity-relief or isolation function against the model datasheet; trunnion support alone does not prove these functions.
- Supply the line size, mating flange or weld details, face-to-face envelope and maintenance access requirements. For actuation, state the supply, fail action and project torque-review requirements for confirmation.
- For pneumatic or electric operation, state minimum available air pressure or electrical supply, control signal, required fail position, operating time and hazardous-area requirements. Request configuration review rather than assuming an actuator is included.
- State manual, geared or actuated operation and the required operating time and supply for review. Include quantity, delivery destination, requested date, approved drawing requirements and material/test records. Require the quotation to distinguish confirmed configuration, optional scope and open technical points.
Sample catalogue reference
The figures describe the named catalogue construction. Size, pressure, temperature, material and end options are not interchangeable combinations; the maximum values do not apply simultaneously. Confirm the offered configuration, seat/seal compatibility, pressure–temperature limits and dimensions on its approved datasheet and drawing. The listed ranges summarize catalogue sizes, not every intermediate DN.

These are model- and class-specific examples. Not every size or end style is available in every configuration; final dimensions and ratings require an approved drawing and datasheet.
SERIES SELECTION
Soft-seated trunnion-mounted ball valve: selection and RFQ checklist
Check supported-ball construction and soft-seat limits independently.
Compare construction choices in this valve family- Request a section drawing identifying ball support and seat arrangement.
- Confirm cavity-pressure relief, shutoff direction and seat compatibility.
- For automation, provide supply, fail position and required operating time for torque review.
