Describe the fluid, concentration, solids, corrosion risk and whether it is a gas, liquid or steam. Material and seat compatibility need review.
State NPS / DN, required bore, face-to-face length and installation envelope; request the model drawing.
Give the ASME Class or PN, plus operating and design pressure and temperature. A class alone is not a duty check.
Specify the mating flange facing or weld/thread details and piping standard; confirm the offered ends on the drawing.

The existing family range is an overview, not proof of every offered size-rating or material combination. No model-specific specification table is available here for these six series; confirm missing ratings, dimensions, materials and ends on the proposed datasheet and drawing.
Treat lubrication, the sleeve and the operating mechanism as separate review points. Identify the fluid and duty, then request the proposed sealing materials, maintenance needs and operating data; a construction label does not establish chemical compatibility or a numerical actuator requirement.
Specify which labelled ports must communicate in every operating position and which routes must remain isolated. The name alone does not confirm port count, passage geometry, an all-closed position or behaviour during switching; obtain the offered porting diagram and position table.
Include the jacketed series when the enquiry specifies a jacket service around the process valve. Provide process-side and jacket-side conditions separately, and request the offered jacket layout and limits; do not assume a heating medium, common pressure rating or a particular port arrangement.
