Check Valves
Swing check valve
KEHUA lists a cast steel swing check valve series with a hinged disc for backflow prevention. Forward flow opens the disc; the closure arrangement and installation must be checked against the actual piping and pump duty.
About the swing check valve manufacturerThese are family-level options. Confirm the offered series rating and materials against its approved datasheet.
CAST STEEL SWING CHECK VALVE PROCUREMENT
What must a swing check valve quotation confirm?
A swing check valve is also called a non-return valve. Its disc position and closing response depend on the offered construction and operating flow conditions. Provide minimum and normal flow, expected flow reversal and pump start-stop conditions for review. Confirm the permitted installation orientation on the model drawing rather than assuming that every swing check valve can be installed in any direction.
- Identify the quoted model and body, disc, hinge/pin, seat and gasket materials, including the pressure–temperature limits for the actual configuration.
- Confirm flange or butt-weld end details, mating piping dimensions, face-to-face length and any space needed to inspect or remove the cover and internal parts.
- Agree shell and seat test standards and editions, test conditions, sealing direction and leakage acceptance; request the specified material and inspection records.
Sample catalogue reference
The figures describe the named catalogue construction. Size, pressure, temperature, material and end options are not interchangeable combinations; the maximum values do not apply simultaneously. Confirm the offered configuration, seat/seal compatibility, pressure–temperature limits and dimensions on its approved datasheet and drawing. The listed ranges summarize catalogue sizes, not every intermediate DN.

These are model- and class-specific examples. Not every size or end style is available in every configuration; final dimensions and ratings require an approved drawing and datasheet.
SERIES SELECTION
Which operating cases belong in a swing check valve RFQ?
Provide flow range, fluid properties, installation orientation and pump start-stop or reversal cases for a swing check valve quotation. Confirm the hinge and disc arrangement, opening space, inspection access and seat-leakage acceptance on the offered drawing. A hinged-disc description or nominal size alone does not establish non-slam performance for the pipeline.

Compare construction choices in this valve family- Provide minimum/normal flow, flow reversal and pump start-stop information.
- Confirm permitted horizontal/vertical orientation and the flow arrow.
- Request the hinge/disc drawing, inspection access and seat leakage acceptance.
- Provide minimum/normal/maximum flow, fluid phase and solids, pressure, temperature, pipe orientation and available pump-trip or reversal data. Specify line size and mating ends, then quantity, destination, requested date and drawing/test records. Require the exact size-class-end combination and any response limitations to be identified in the offer.
