Globe Valves
Cast steel globe valve
KEHUA lists a cast steel globe valve series for flow regulation review. Confirm whether the requirement is isolation, intermittent throttling or continuous modulation before selecting the trim and operating arrangement.

CAST STEEL GLOBE VALVE PROCUREMENT
What should a cast steel globe valve enquiry confirm?
The duty determines the required flow review. A manual globe valve is not automatically a sized control valve. For regulation, request the model-specific flow information and operating limits needed to check the actual pressure drop and travel.
- Provide fluid composition and phase, minimum, normal and maximum flow, inlet and outlet pressures, temperature and cycling frequency.
- For regulation, request Cv/Kv, usable travel, flow characteristic and actuation information; assess cavitation, flashing or noise where the service calls for it.
- Confirm the casting grade, trim and seat design, stem sealing, pressure-temperature limits, end connections and face-to-face dimensions of the quoted configuration.
- Check the manufacturer’s flow arrow, installation orientation and maintenance access. Agree shell, seat and stem-sealing test conditions, leakage acceptance and required records.
Sample catalogue reference
The figures describe the named catalogue construction. Size, pressure, temperature, material and end options are not interchangeable combinations; the maximum values do not apply simultaneously. Confirm the offered configuration, seat/seal compatibility, pressure–temperature limits and dimensions on its approved datasheet and drawing. The listed ranges summarize catalogue sizes, not every intermediate DN.

SERIES SELECTION
Which duty and flow data belong in a cast steel globe valve RFQ?
State whether the cast steel globe valve is for shutoff or regulation, then provide fluid phase, flow cases, inlet and outlet pressures and temperature. For regulation, request the offered trim's Cv/Kv and usable travel instead of inferring flow capacity from pipe size. Agree shell and seat acceptance separately from the required flow performance.

Compare construction choices in this valve family- Provide flow cases, fluid phase, inlet/outlet pressures and temperature.
- For regulation, request Cv/Kv and usable travel for the actual model.
- Check flow arrow, packing, maintenance access and agreed seat leakage acceptance.
- Provide medium and phase, flow cases with units, inlet/outlet pressures, temperature and allowable pressure loss. Identify line size, required ends, trim and operator needs, then add quantity, destination, requested date and drawing/test records. For regulation, request model-specific Cv/Kv and usable travel instead of inventing a flow coefficient.
